Howdy,
I thought I heard mention or read something somewhere that you guys were changing the integrated SSH system to bring in more features from Putty such as multiple Tunnels within a single SSH connection. I'm wondering when that is slated to come in but I also have a question about it.
Because we can't do multiple tunnels right now, we have setup individual SSH sessions to go with each of our RDP sessions and the RDP session launches the SSH session before it connects. It also then disconnects the SSH session when we close out of the RDP session since it's a 1 to 1 relationship.
When the new SSH system goes in, will we be able to do the same thing? If I have 10 RDP sessions that could all use the same SSH session, each with it's own tunnel inside the connection, would I be able to use the automatic Launch/Disconnect feature or would that cause problems if more than one were active at a time as we wouldn't want closing RDP #1 to kill the SSH session if RDP #2 was using the same one but through a different tunnel.
Does that make sense?
Thanks!
Hi,
Hubert is working on that right now. I will make sure that he tests your scenario

Hello,
There will be a new type called "SSH Port forward" which is SSH tunneling using our own integration. This will support your scenario by using "VPN groups" which are located in the VPN/Tunnel/Gateway tab in any connection.
If you find any issues while using it, please notify us and we'll see what we can do.
This should be available in the next beta version of RDM.
