vSphere 5.1 and domain login

avatar

Hi,
vSphere 5.1 client is now using windows credentials to login.
I could do this using the build in credential store. But did someone mange the login with Keepass as credential store?
all I need would be the option to modify the Login like <domain>\<user> and Password.

Or is there an other way to customize the window.
Thank you for help

You can add in KeePass a string field named Domain and enter a value. RDM will retrieve it.

Hi David,
thank you for your answer.
I have done this but I have a set of Accounts where the password have to be changed every month. And this for several ESX systems in several domains.
This in this combination I prefer to just have one entry inside Keepass for each account.

I know this is not very often. And I know that such combinations will be only available inside big companies or for remote support.
But maybe you could take this with you as a feature request.
Never mind what kind of password repository / credential store is used, to have the option to build the own login string.
This will also be helpful if a central data source is used.

Bug!
Version
KeePass 2.29, plugin 2.1.2.0 and RDM 10.6.5.0
string field named Domain - found RDM
string field named DOMAIN - not found RDM!
