How to save passwords in RDM and not in SecureCRT and transfer it only when openning session?

Hi,
Actually it's not possible to send passwords to SecureCRT. This application doesn't allow that.
The only way would be using an Auto Typing Macro. You can consult our online help at

Actually it is possible using the /PASSWORD "mypassword" in Other parameters field. It works if I put real password there, but if I fill real password and username in "Credentials - Embedded" and write /PASSWORD "$PASSWORD$" and check Allow password in variable in Advanced, it doesn't work. How to debug the command generation? Or is it possible to integrate sending user and password inside add-on.

Hi,
The SecureCRT Add-on is now adapted with the informations that you provided. Unfortunately we don't have the required environment to test it correctly.
Could you try it please and give us some feedback ?
