Issues with Embedded function on Windows 2008 R2

I can't get the embedded option to work for Windows 2008 R2 servers. Any thoughts? I have version 7.6.3.0 and also tried an earlier version and no success. Windows 2003 servers work with the embedded function.

Hi,
Do you save the password in the database or locally? Have you tried to set the Network Level Authentication?
