Hello,
I have a problem with RDM v. 10.5.4.0 (Trial). I am trying to connect with server which have alternative credential provider (pGINA) http://pgina.org/ configured.
Autologin is trying to connect with server, but with no success.
Log on screen is shown, with the logo of pGina, username and password boxes.
Keyboard is locked, I am unable to type anything. (I am suspecting that RDM tried to log in by Windows built in credential provider and cursor is locked there).
Then I have to click reconnect on session (without auto login) then I am able to type my username and password, and log in to server.
Problem is not present in Microsoft RDP manager. I am suspecting that this tool is using current credential provider and log in with pGina (default provider in this case), and RDM is trying to force log in with built in Windows credential provider.

Hi,
Could you try to open the connection in external mode?
David Hervieux
In external mode, I am able to type username and password. I found the cause for auto login. In pGina Auto login is not supported by default. Additional plugin must be installed in pGina to enable autologin on server.

I disabled saved credentials, so target server is asking for credentials. But in internal mode I still have to click reconnect to be able to type my username and password.
Could you try to enable the Load plug-ins in embedded mode in the Experiences tab page?
David Hervieux
I tried with Load plug-ins. It did not help.
Could you try RDCMan to see if it works?

I tested alternative scenario. Problem is present when I am opening RDP session with automatic VPN connection. If I connect vpn session manually before, I am able to type credentials in RDP log on screen.
I probably found the root cause of my problem. Problem is not connected with PGina, but with automatic VPN connection.
When I start my RDP connection, and VPN is connecting automatically, I have to switch window from RDP to VPN(putty) window, and click to place the cursor in Putty window. After this I can get back to the RDP window, and log in manually or with keepass autotype.
Do you know why is that?
Hi,
Perhaps there is a delay before the tunnel is completely opened. Could you try to not swtich but wait 10 seconds?
