Export a list with only the name of selected entries
I have a datasource in which there is a folder and that folder has entries of the Software type. I want to export a list with the names of these Software type entries. I tried the report "Entry Information", but it comes with a lot more information than just the name. I am using version 10.4.1.0. Is there any way to accomplish that?

Well it turns out that the field required to identify is deep down in a sub-object. This has turned from a quick Saturday morning response to one that requires research.
An alternative would be to use the advanced search. View - Advanced Search.
Set the connection type to "Data (Software)", hit search.
Press ctrl-a to select all of your entries, then right-click, export special, then choose the format, I expect you will need the CSV format. Note that it will require a password, then it will generate a password protected zip file containing the csv file.
Simply open it and delete the columns you do not need.
Sorry, it should be easier. I will look at the powershell solution on monday.
