It would be nice if there was a way to incorporate taking notes in Microsoft OneNote.
Do you have an idea on how we could do that? Perhaps an example with a scenario?
David Hervieux
I was thinking on the lines of say clicking on a button (Similar to if you right click on a message in Outlook and choose the onenote option). It then prompts you for where to send the note whether it be the group, or page, or what not. From there you can document what you may have done during that session. Maybe even send timestamps to the notebook as well, for session opened, session ended, etc.
It could also be a global setting, so anytime you launch or close a connection it prompts you if you want to save your notes to OneNote.
Do you know how we could send the note to onenote? Do they have an API?

I found this in a real fast search. It might be possible.

Side note: skogie.. you know you can add a OneNote document inside RDM?
Also, you can edit notes in the usage log. This might give you a work around to keep track of what you are doing during that session.
Hi,
I will update the feature request.

Any updates on this topic yet?
Hello,
Nothing new on this side yet.

Hello,
Just wanted to provide some updated info on the OneNote API - there are a couple actually, the new one is MS Graph-based and only works with "online" notebooks (notebooks stored in cloud locations), but the traditional API lets you work with notebooks stored in any location. You can do everything from creating and moving new and existing pages and sections, modifying existing text on pages, creating links, etc. More info on that can be found here:

This would be a cool feature to see - hope this helps!
