RDP 8.1 DPI passthrough issues

RDP 8.1 DPI passthrough issues

avatar

We have some users that are evaluating RDM Enterprise, but with some recent upgrades to Windows Server 2012 R2, their local DPI settings from Windows 8.1 is now passed to Windows Server 2012 R2 on the host side and they do NOT want that.

Is it possible to disable that DPI/scaling passthrough somewhere in RDM?

Hi Jesper,

Please have a look at the Screen areas unresponsive in embedded sessions section in our Online Help

I'm using 10.5.4.0 on win7x64.

Is there any way to resolve the dpi scaling issues with this app?

I'm working on a 30" 2560x1600 monitor.
If I disable the scaling at the app level for RDM, the UI becomes ugly at best.

Is there currently any effort to resolve this issue, or am I using the product in a way that is not intended?

Thank you!

Jean-Francois, I checked http://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/troubleshooting_rdp.htm a while back, and unfortunately this doesn't help.

It seems to not work as you describe in that troubleshooting article on Windows 8.1.

Any other suggestions?
