My situation:
- I have Administrator rights to our Company database
- End users only receive view/read/write on specified folders
- Our Site Licence is imbedded under [Data Source settings\Serial\Serial (Site/Global). [Hide serial number] is checked, (expiration: 1 May 2015)
Old situation on version 9.2:
Before whenever RDM was installed on a new desktop the user would automatically receive a license key (hidden from the user) as soon as they connected to our company datasource
The first account that i have created using v10.5.4.0 to be used on a new windows 8.1 workplace also running v10.5.4.0 is no longer receiving the licence key from the data source. The 30 day evaluation stays.
- This has been tested using both windows domain accounts and standalone accounts
- Colleagues upgrading from v9.2 to v10.5 experience no issues

I suspect that RDM is determining that the 30-day trial serial is valid for longer than the license that expires May 1st 2015 hence it favors the trial over the datasource serial. This is not the intended behavior, we will resolve it in the next beta build.
