Hi,
This might be an easy one, but i tried quite some different options now, but cannot manage to get it done right.
I want to open a cisco anyconnect VPN connection which i can connect like this : "c:\program files\cisco\cisco anyconnect secure mobility client\vpncli.exe" -s connect hostname.com <c:\temp\password.txt
When entering the above in a command line, it will not connect, it will just open the client in a dos box.
other option is to use a web connect, and insert the URL,user and password there, this works, but when i want to connect to an RDP afterward, it just immediately starts to connect to the RDP, before the login on the website (and connect to VPN) was succeeded. Not sure where to build in a wait when using the command line to connect to an RDP afterwards..
Using this as command works, but no option to wait for the vpn to connect there .. mstsc.exe "C:\Users\Me\Documents\RDP\customer.rdp"
Do you have a suggestion for the best way to do this?
Thanks for your time!
options with anyconnect are very limited and we struggle too every day with it.
our preferred solution is to create a webentry for connection but there you will have problems with auto-acknowledge security-certificate-warnings and yes ... your timeout-problem
2nd solution is rdm-anyconnect-plugin, but on connect rdm looses focus on session an so you will get your timeout-problem too.....
maybe you can place a comment-box so you have to click ok after connect and rdp-session will then load.

hi robinn,
today i got an idea for your problem: create a play list with anyconnect & rdp entry.
there you can set a wait time - set it to 10sec
you will have to teach your users to open play list, but it works ....

Hi Markus,
Thank you for your suggestions, I will try both options to see what works best for us.
One question for you; where or how do i place a comment-box where you have to click ok after vpn connect? Is that something I can script/configure in the webentry option?
Thanks again!
Best Regards,
Robin
Hi Markus,
That playlist suggestion did the trick, thanks!!
I now added a command line on after disconnect of the RDP session (the second entry in the playlist) to close the VPN session that was opened in the first session, that works, but the first session stays active. Is there a way to close that session as well (even though the VPN disconnects, I would like to see that green Arrow gone on the first entry and close the session completely).
Best Regards,
Robin

i dont think so,
you will have to add the vpn-disconnect string into the vpn-session-entry -> After disconnect-Script
there is no Play-List-Close functionality in RDM.
@david,hubert: may be a good feature-request... Close Opened Play-Lists, Close Opened Play-List (select Play-List)
Kind Regards
