Sync between two computers

Is there a way that you can sync the sessions that you have open on say a laptop while you are working from home, to a desktop computer that you have in the office? Almost like a profile chooser of some sort, i am using SQL for the DB. Similar to how Spotify's app works when you are playing music on a cell phone, you can pull that music and start playing it on your desktop computer.
