Run Script/Macro/Playlist automatically on application start?
Hi,
Is it is possible to run a playlist/Macro/Script on startup of RDM?
We have a number of AHK scripts that would be used every time RDM is open and it would be helpful to have these auto-launched.
Cheers,
Myles
Hi,
You can specify the default playlist to open at startup in the Play List Manager (View ribbon). You can also include a macro script tool in the play list.

Hi David,
I seem to be unable to add an AutoHotKey script to a Playlist?
Is this by design? (Using v10.5)
Myles
Hi,
Could you give more more details? Does the add to play list button is disabled or it's not listed?
David Hervieux
I can click create playlist with selected items, however, when it opens the select items screen for the playlist 0 items are selected and the AutoHotKey script is not listed as select-able.
Hello,
Macro/Script/Tool types (which includes AutoHotKey) will be available for playlists in the next RDM version. When it is out, could you test it and tell us if it works for your use case? Thank you.

Yes of course Hubert, will it be in the next beta?
This should be available in the next minor version update which will probably be version 10.5.1.0! This won't be classified a beta.

In version 2019.2 this can now be found here: "Edit" ribbon -> Drop Down menu from "Play List" -> "Play List Management..."
In bottom line of appearing window, there's a "Launch at startup" selection box.
