Basic Authentication doesn't work in IE
Hello,
When I create a new web browser session with basic authentication using the credentials in the "login" tab - Internet Explorer only shows a blank screen, nothing loading, nothing. In Chrome, same settings work fine.
If I remove the username and password the basic login screen appears as it should in IE.
Tryed this on 3 different PC's, same result. Why?

Tryed another website with basic authentication, http://browserspy.dk/password-ok.php with username "test" and password "test". Does not work when I open it in IE, works fine when I open the session Embedded/Tabbed and in Chrome.
Everyone else must also have this issue? :/
I need it to work in Internet Explorer since alot of functions in firewalls UI only work in IE.

Have you try to check Url encode credentials?

I was thinking of checking on these credentials. So far, I haven't done it.
