Hi!
Do you have any tips on how to improve startup time of RDM? Also close time and other things. It seems a bit unresponsive at times....
cheers,
Daniel

Do you mean the application? It's a .NET application so if it's the first application you start after a reboot, there is a warm up associated. Do you have a lot of connection too?

Yes the client application. It takes about 7 to 10 seconds from launching the program until I see the connection tree and can use it.
It's not just after rebooting. I reboot maybe once a month when installing updates.
When I'm closing the application, the window changes size before it closes, which is strange
If there are no open sessions closing is actually quite fast...
I do have around 240 sessions, and the data source is a SQL Sserver
cheers
What version do you use exactly? Do you have the latest version?
For the Windows resize, if the application is maximized, RDM restore needs to change it to normal for saving the original size. I suspect that's the close of the session which is slow. RDM has to wait for the close.

The resize on close seems a bit strange to me :)
It's just a minor thing, but I'd prefer it staying maximized. (While popups like "Close open session?" and "Close VPN?" etc. are displayed.)
Maybe save window size only if it's not maximized on close or whenever it's changed?
cheers
I might have another solution indeed. I will take a look at this.
