Is there a way to have the VPN tunnel in each session use the remote gateway? I have a .pbk file that each session is configured with.
Hi,
Have you created a VPN entry and linked your sessions to it?

See below.

You can take a look at this help topic

That's not what I'm looking for, I need to force the VPN connection to use the remote default gateway. Like shown below.

Sorry I don't think it's possible to do that in RDM. We don't have any settings for that.

That's a pretty big feature missing then. How do you expect people to access devices on other subnets or vlan's once VPN'd in?
Hi,
How do you do that when you use mstsc? We use rasdial or rasphone to open the Microsoft VPN.

Right click on the VPN connection, hit properties, under the Network tab, select TCP/IPv4, and go to properties, the option to "Use remote default gateway" is listed. Look to my 3rd post.
Do you know if this setting is saved in the phonebook?
David Hervieux
It seems not, because I copied the .pbk file from my computer which has all of my VPN connections. The particular VPN connection I use works fine when using the built in Windows, but not when using RDM.
Hi,
I've found this article
https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsserver/en-US/f228d2ae-232d-4572-8eee-60252f6d03a3/can-i-enable-use-default-gateway-on-remote-network-on-vpn-connection-using-group-policy?forum=winserverGP
It's written that the flag you are looking for is IpPrioritizeRemote
