How to start session as embedded with command line

avatar

Hi,

I need to run a lot of RDP embedded sessions automatically. My plan was to run from command line with RDM file as parameter with tag:

<OpenEmbedded>true</OpenEmbedded>

Unfortunately sessions are run as external (not embedded).

Can you help me on that ?

Thanks,

Hi,
Does you session are loaded in RDM? You could just use the sessionID to open them or use the protocol handler url:

Thanks David for quick reply.

Just for clarification:
1. Nothing is started
2. 100 sessions are exported as *.rdm files from RemoteDesktopManager and stored on the hard drive
3. Tag OpenEmbedded is se to true in every *.rdm file
4. For each of 100 sessions I am starting from command line:
RemoteDesktopManager.exe filename01.rdm
RemoteDesktopManager.exe filename02.rdm
RemoteDesktopManager.exe filename03.rdm
....
RemoteDesktopManager.exe filename100.rdm

Actual Result:
Every session is started as external in separete window (not embeded in RemoteDesktopManager)

Expected Result:
Every session should start as embedded RemoteDesktopManager tab due to OpenEmbedded set to true

Is it possible ?

Hi,
It should work. Could you send me in private one of your session (you can remove the credentials)?
