Permit only sessions from RDM Client

Permit only sessions from RDM Client

We would like our users to only use the RDM Enterprise Client to start RDP sessions. "Normal" RDP client sessions should not be used.

We are building a RD Gateway Farm which is loadbalanced by NetScaler. On the NetScalers we could make rules to filter traffic based on the client request. For example perform an action when HTTP.REQ.HEADER("User-Agent").CONTAINS("MS-RDGateway/1.0").

Is there any way you can think of how to filter RDP sessions started from the RDM Client? We would like to make different rules for sessions started from the "normal" RDP client and RDP sessions started from the RDM client?

Hello,

We cannot achieve this using the application. Here are a few ideas that we've submitted to users in the past:









None of them are perfect, and they do require a lot more details to work out.
