Hello.
Testing between Lastpass and Thycotic today with RDM.
I have Lastpass configured with an account that is "shared credentials". Within lastpass the user is restricted from being able to see the password. However if you are in RDM and you right click and hit view password, it then shows the username and password for the connection thus circumventing the hidden password in lastpass.
Am I missing a way to keep the password confidential from this user?
You can go in the data source setting and disable the Reveal password right to disable it for all the users or change this per user.

There is no spot in the datasource config that I can see to disable the show password. I See it in the connection and it is disabled.
Found it.
My DB wasn't set to the trial for Online just the free DB.
Which begs another question, do you have to make the jump to PRO for 2-3 users?
Hello,
The data sources supported by the Free edition are not well suited for teams. You can still make it work, but you must takes steps to preserve data consistency yourself.
A model that we have seen a few times is to have a master user, the other users do not perform changes and only get a replicated copy of the data. This works especially well with FTP/HTTP/Dropbox/S3 because you can withhold the permission to make changes.
Best regards,
Maurice
