Is any way to have multiple Iterm sessions to open with a specific profile, not the default.
Thanks
Hello,
What do you mean by profile? We have so many ways to customize features that it may be better to describe what you want to achieve and we'll try to find the best way to handle your scenario.
Best regards,
Maurice
In Iterm you can setup multiple profiles, with like different setting, fonts, colors, etc.
When you set a new ITERM session on Remote Desktop Manager (Mac Version), the shell always open the settings for the default profile in ITERM.
I also tried to change text font on the session itself but keep getting the default settings from ITERM.
I hope I made myself clear.
So what im trying to accomplish is that when i set a new ITERM session on RDM i can pick a specific profile from ITERM to be opened.
My current setting are..
General - Command
Connection - SSH $NAME$ (this will pick the session name)
Thanks
Hi,
A Profile in iTerm is just a collection of predefined settings, like a bookmark.
We don't expose or use the iTerm profiles in RDM; instead, you can set the same settings on your iTerm connections in RDM. So in that regard, a RDM 'connection' is equivalent to an iTerm 'profile'.
Try editing your iTerm connection in RDM, and you will be able to set the font, etc, for that particular session.
I hope this helps but if you have more questions please let us know

I did tried that. I set a different font and a color, but still when i established the session, the font is the same as the default iterm profile and the color is also ignored. I'm new on mac so maybe I'm doing something wrong.
The settings I'm changing on the iterm session are....
Session name..
and On the Iterm session .. General - option : COMMAND
Connection : ssh $name$
Then selecting some new font with a green color to test.
The way is working right now, is the connection get established and then execute the ssh to connect to the pc i want to login, but shows the default letter and the white/black original color.
Thanks for your patience.

Hi Gustavo
Thank you for the extra information.
Actually, the color will not work right now. Because the font color does not control the colors that are used in the terminal - we have to set the ANSI colors instead. We don't have a UI yet to configure this, although it is on my todo list.
However, the font itself should change (you should be able to use a custom font and size).
Can you try to create a brand new connection to test with, and change the font type and size and see if it works? Have you tried changing both the regular and non-ascii fonts?
Thank you
Richard

Hi Richard
I did test again , and you are right the settings for the font works fine, i can see the changes, but as you said the color still not working.
Hope the color feature will be available in a future release.
Thanks
Gustavo
Ok great, thank you for looking.
We should have the color settings implemented soon.
Thanks again for the feedback,
