Filter Box Loses Focus

I can't reproduce it. Could you post a print screen? Perhaps you have a different UI than mine?

I am unsure what you mean, please help me understand what it is that you need that may help you understand this issue. I fear a screenshot would only show you a point in time picture of my screen whereas the problem is when I click in the bottom left filter box the focus is there for maybe a second then moves to the RDP session I currently have active.

did you try to reset layout? it sometimes solves a lot of problems.
you will find it in Window -> Reset Layout
after this close an open RDM again and try again

Thank you for the suggestion, I hadn't tried that. I just reset my layout and unfortunately it didn't fix the issue.

hm, thats bad,

i too cant reproduce in rdm 10.1.8, it is working.

maybe try to uninstall rdm, manually delete %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Devolutions and reinstall
(dont know which db-type you use, but if local-db do an export before uninstall)

if it occours after fresh install it's maybe not rdm-related.

I just retried the reset layout with all options selected and it fixed the problem!

does it occour only on your machine? can you test within a vm or another pc?

A colleague in my office has the same issue.

I think I know what it could be. Could you disable this settings in File->Options

I've made a fix for that and RDM will no longer try to focus the tab content when the filter or the quick connect is selected.

Thanks David. One other thing I noticed is that when I hit enter after typing in a servername it doesn't automatically connect to that server, I need to double click on the name.

Hi David, no, I type in the server name or enough to make it unique and then hit the "enter" key, nothing happens.

Could you you send me a print screen of your layout? You can sent it as a private message. I want to see if have a different layout than me and also verify where the focus is.
