Upgrade to Desktop Manager Free

This was an issue with v1.0.7.0, I would suggest you download the latest version v1.1.3.0
http://remotedesktopmanager.com/Home/Download

If for any reason your want to install the v1.0.7.0 the MSI can be downloaded
http://download.devolutions.net/Setup.RemoteDesktopManagerFree.1.0.7.0.msi

I get the same error if I wont uninstall the program over the Windows Feature and Program, and the same when i start the Upgrade.

I copy the File to the destination , but it don´t works.

Have you a another idea?

Could you try the following steps:

- Close RDM
- Download RDM Free Edition 1.1.3.0 zip file (http://remotedesktopmanager.com/Home/Download)
- Copy/paste the items of the zip file in your installation folder
- Restart RDM

Hi, after upgrading to Windows 10 and wanting now to upgrade to the current version of RemoteDesktopManagerFree, I am struggling to uninstall 1.0.7.0. I tried special uninstall software without success. It continued to ask for this file which I downloaded:http://download.devolutions.net/Setup.RemoteDesktopManagerFree.1.0.7.0.msi which I then downloaded. I reinstalled 1.0.7.0 successfully from this file, but now when upgrading to 2.0.0.0 I again get an error message:


And can't uninstall further.

Could you please assist me in upgrading?

Is this the same one I have already previously downloaded fro : http://download.devolutions.net/Setup.RemoteDesktopManagerFree.1.0.7.0.msi ? This is my point: Even when I point to the msi file I get the above error. So it does not want to uninstall 1.0.7.0 and I can't upgrade to 2.0.0.0.

Please assist in resolving the problem. How can I clean up my machine of v1.0.7.0 without using the uninstall routine? The uninstall program gives me the error above. I am stuck now.

I actually managed to finally uninstall 1.0.7.0 from Programs and Features and then I was able to install 2.0.0.0.

The problem is resolved so I did not need to follow your last advice.
