Open WinSCP or sftp from an ssh session.

It would nice to have an option to open an SFTP or WinSCP connect on an exiting ssh session. MobaXterm has something like this listed under features and it would be very useful.
Could I accomplish this with a script or macro instead?

What I am talking about is that I already have an established ssh session to one of my servers. I would like to press a button and using the credentials i've already entered open an sftp/scp connection to that same host, without having to setup a separate connection to that machine for SFTP/SCP
