We just update to version 10.1.7.0 and when creating Roles we are not able to give anything more than "View" permissions on security groups to any role. We can place a checkbox in the column for add/edit and delete, and hit "OK", but when you go back and edit the role, the permissions are not there.
We had the same problem with password vault evaluation, and turned out it was a know bug. Maybe this app/version has the same bug?
We are using a SQL back end.

Hello,
Under SQL server, only permissions to security groups can be granted through roles.
Individual rights must be granted in the user management screen. This is because the GRANT/DENY commands on the underlying SQL Server tables are done in the user management screens.
The bug was that the section was showing and it would induce a lot mistakes.
Best regards,
Maurice
What good are the roles if all I can give is view rights? So this is NOT the same bug as this. http://forum.devolutions.net/topic20063-unable-to-set-addeditdelete-permissions-to-any-role.aspx
Hi,
Could you download the zip file and update your installation. Ive made a patch to fix the issue like the one in Password Vault Manager.

Use the standard download path on your website or is there an special download path?

We have enterprise and this looks to be the free version and has no setup. Do I simply unzip and use like enterprise?
My mistake and this is the right link
