According to several sites the Microsoft implementation of PPTP with MSCHAPV2 is not safe to use anymore:

Also according Microsoft:

So we are moving to L2TP but in RDM you can only store the username and the password, not the shared secret. When we open the VPN we have to manualy enter the shared secret again.

Is there a location where we can centraly store the shared secret.

Hi,
I don't think that's possible to provide the shared secret in command line. You might be able to create a macro in the After connection event.
