RDP and saved password

avatar

I've been using RDM for little while now and love it.

I recently encountered this issue and have not been able to find the answer.

My domain password expired and I created a new one.

I updated my password in the RDM credentials, but all of my RDP sessions still want to use my old password.

In the session I have the credential repository selected as well as the correct credentials.

Hi,
Do you open you connection embedded or in external mode? Could you try both mode to see if this make a difference?

I use external currently because I need the connection to be opened in a different monitor.

I'll try embedded, but I can't direct that to a different monitor, can I?

Embbeded still attempted to log in with the wrong password.

I've attached a screenshot to see if maybe my settings are incorrect.

Could it be possible that you have a User Specific setting or a Local Specific setting applied on this session or on the credential entry?

I'm not sure where those settings are on the Credentials.

For the credentials I am using the Username / Password option and have the name, group/folder, user name, domain, and password filled (and nothing else).

On the session under tools I have use default credentials selected. Should that be use credential repository credentials?

Could you try to activate the Allow copy credential to clipboard and verify the content of the password?

Well after a reboot everything seems to be working fine.

I'm not sure what the issue could have been, but it had been nearly a month since the last reboot.
