Is the a way to restore opened sessions from the previous session? I'm hoping I'm not as dense as I feel asking this, but I can't find an answer using "restore" or "reopen" in help or the forums.
What I want is to be able to close RDM and when I open it again it will restore the sessions that were open when I closed it.
Have thought about this feature a couple of times, but never got around to writing it down. So here goes ;)
I would love this feature, but it should be per user basis and saved in database.
We start RDM from a shared location and use the "override.cfg" option. It would be very annoying to open RDM with someone else's saved tab session.
And this of course should be an option, not forced usage.
Example:
I close RDM with multiple sessions open, receive a warning as usual(RDM has at this stage already saved my session list in the DB).
I open RDM, it starts as usual, but I have the option to press some button to recall/open my last sessions with a single click of a button.
This could even be expanded by the option to be able to save multiple session groups. Like Web-Servers(WEB01, WEB02, ect.) / AD-Servers(AD01, AD02).
You get the idea.

This is already logged in our todo list. Thank you

Could you maybe tell when this feature is to be exptected?
Hi,
I hope to add this for the v8.5
David Hervieux
Ok, thanks. Will be watching the releases for 8.5 :)
I also require this feature in order to migrate from ASG/VisionApp.
Is there an ETA on v8.5 yet?
Hi,
This is is the version 9.0 beta:

Excellent, the restore connections function works very well.
Thanks
Just wondering if the reopen on close is tied to the computer on which RDM is running or is it tied to the DB login when using SQL data source.
We're considering making a common SQL login for a group of users and I was worried each users open sessions might clobber the other if it's linked to the login.
From my quick tests it appears to be saved on the local computer somewhere and not linked to the database login. Can you confirm this is the case?
Thanks
Hi,
It's per data source and it's saved in %LocalAppData%\Devolutions\RemoteDesktopManager\{DATA SOURCE ID}\PlayList
This is part of the play list feature.
