I have a Putty session open that requires using F2. Is there any way to pass the keystroke?
What version do you use? I'm asking that because I think that we have fixed some issue with the key down. If not I will take a look at this.

v7.4.6.0
I just loaded v7.5 and am seeing the same issue.
I have entered a bug report. This should be in the next minor update

Thanks for your assistance David. How often are minor releases done?
We have many people in vacation (including me) but after in September, everybody will be back and we will be able to do a small release.

Hi,
I just had an idea. Have you tried the embedded SSH instead of Putty? This should work fine.

Using SSH Shell I have the same issue where F2 tries to rename
Using SSH I am unable to get a connection established
It's weird because I saw the code which seems to handle it correctly. I will verify that. Just make sure that the terminal is focused. I know also that if you hold ALT or SHIFT or CTRL, it's not supposed to rename it.
