For our tech support team, we are going to start with RDM.
Is there an option to deny an export of the session list?
I do want my employees to add/edit sessions, but not to export them to their own file.
We are using an SQL server for the database.
Thanks!
Sander
Hi,
It's not in the current version, but I'm currently working in the security engine, I will add this for the next version.

Hi,
In the RDM v7.5.0.0, it's possible to allow or deny an export sessions with sql database.
I want to allow standard user to export session in local database for exemple.
I create some standard users but if i select in user management "Export sessions", menu "Export All Session List" isn't available for the user.
Same problem with import sessions.
Export/Import session list is just available for "Administrator".
Any idea?
Thanks a lot,
Dimitri
Hi,
You need to give them this specific right in File->Administration->Users
David Hervieux
Hi,
Yes, i did it ! For the user, i select "Export sessions" but menu "Export All Session List" isn't available for the user.
Export/Import session list is just available for "Administrator".
Thanks,
Hi,
I think I know why. It's because you can't export if you can't add

Hi ,
Yes i'ts true.
The user can only export sessions if i put the right "add sessions".
I think it's logical to import session but not to export sessions?
Is-it possible to change right for manage import session and export session separately?
We want our users can only export session on our local base but not to add or edit sessions on the SQL database.
Thanks,
Dim
Hi,
Could you try the new version 7.6? This is resolved.
David Hervieux
Hi,
I try the new version 7.6 => Ok the problem is resolved.
Thanks a lot!
Hi,
Thank you for your help and sorry again for that. By the way the "Add" right is still required for the import.
