I am running Remote Desktop Manager from the folder "C:\Remote Desktop Manager" and I can't find the connections.mdb file. The datasource says it is in "C:\Program Files\Remote Desktop Manager\Connections.mdb" but that doesn't exist. Could you tell me where the Connections.mdb is so that I can transfer it to another PC?
Thanks
Neil
Maybe it's in the same folder you run RDM from "C:\Remote Desktop Manager"! You can just change the data source in RDM to point to the new location.
Have you searched your C:\*.* for the string "Connections"(included hidden folders) ?

Hi,
UggaBugga is right. You can do a search of connections.mdb. Because of the Windows Vista virtual store, the database is not really saved in the folder :

The version 5.6 will save the default database in another folder. Too many people have problem with that. This is also related to the UAC.
Sorry about that

I forgot about the virtual store and because I was searching without looking in hidden folders missed it! For anyone else looking it is here: "%userprofile%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Remote Desktop Manager".
