Hi,

the data entry view looks very nice on single click (one page with all categories of the data entry).
The users often double click and have the edit view, which is not that nice for endusers.

Is it possible to have a solution, that an end user will always see the compact view (single click) due to rights or settings?

What you describe is not exactly available. You can however control the double-click action.

Hi,

No, I have already set the default action to View. Nevertheless, a doule click on the data entry will not show the compact view as with single click.
Is the default action depending on other things?

How about if we added the "Dashboard" option to the list of default actions. This would in fact make the double click act exactly like the single click action that is to show the dashboard.

Would that solve the issue? If so I will add it to the To-Do list.
