Hello David,
I looked for anything matching this topic but didn't find anything, so I thought I'd file it in.
When having open one session and then choosing "Open Session (prompt for credential)", it was possible to open another session to the same host, but with different credentials. This doesn't work since v7.x anymore. I'm not sure whether this is a bug or has changed by design. Right now I am still running v6.6
Thanks for looking into this!
Sven
Hi,
This is for an RDP session external or embedded?
David Hervieux
I have only tested this for embedded RDP sessions. Will try to verify for external sessions tomorrow.
Update: No, if you have external sessions, minimize it and choose open session (promt for credential), the minimized window pops up.

Hello,
just wondering if there is any update on this matter?
Sven
Hi,
Have you tried the latest beta (7.4.7):

Hello,
Sorry for the delay.
I have tried v7.5. Still the same behaviour.
Kind regards,
Sven
Ok,
Could you give me the steps to reproduce it?
David Hervieux
Sure!
1. Open a Session like you normally would, e.g. double click on a server on the left hand side.
2. Log in.
3. Once the session is established, right click on the same server on the left hand side an choose "Open Session (prompt for credential)".
With v6.6 this would produce another tab/window with the windows log on screen or prompt directly for credentials, so you could have several sessions with different logins. But since v7 nothing visible happens.
Hi Sven,
A quick question have you enabled the ability in RDM options to allow for multiple instances of a session?
