Members of a VPN-Group don't open a new VPN Ses...

Hi,
I wondering if it's possible that members of a VPN-Group check if a VPN-Session in this VPN-group is already opened and do nothing when it is open. In my case I have one VPN-Session (for every location). All entries (of this location) they need a VPN-connection use this one "existing session" and they are in the same "vpn group".
At the moment there seems to be whether sessions are a member of a VPN-group or not. It will be tried everytime to connect, even if it already exists

RDM is suppose to verify if the group is already open and do nothing if it is. What type of VPN do you use, maybe it's not working for all types?

I use cisco VPN client and shrew soft VPN client

For every location I have one VPN-entry and the entries they are need a VPN-connection are linked to this.

Yes I had chosen the group from the list. on some entries I used the Batch-Edit
