Putty embended sessions open an external window.
From 3 days ago (without any configuration change), i am having an issue where putty sessions marked as embedded are launching in a separate window
RDM creates a tab for the session but it doesn't embed the session. It leaves it open externally. When I close the session RD removes the tab.
I tried reinstalling version 6.1 and now i am using the latest beta 7.4.2
Tried restoring the RDM sessions from an old file, but still the same issue.
Updated the "Embended putty delay" from 1200 to 5000 and same issue.
The debug in the log, was set to 1, but the log file does not show anything.
OS: Windows XP SP3
Putty: standalone and installed version (checked both).
Any idea?

Could you try the advanced option; Use Old Putty integration? File->Options and the last tab page

I just created a new putty session called "pp", referencing a host called "nsgctstapp" Tried to connect to verify it.
After that, i created a new session in RDM, type SSH, and referenced the "pp" session in putty. And marked it as "embedded".
I double click the new session in RDM and it opens an external putty window and a tab inside the dashboard with name "pp".
In conclusion, same situacion as described in the beggining.
I checked the "Old Putty Integration" option, restarted the RDM, and the problem still appears.
any other combination to check?
The issue started happening alone, i made no configuration change on the machine.
I will create a new version with debug options. I will try to get back to you later tonight

In the session setting, you have now a checkbox to enable the debug. Copy paste the message box you received.

I really don't know. The Windows API we call does not work anymore. I really don't understand. In the meantime, you could try the native SSH in RDM

What's strange is that it has stopped working recently. For now, I have no solution

I did not make any configuration change / patch install, etc.
It is really strange. I will decide what to do in the meantime. The issue is that i tried many version of the product, and i have the same result.
