Unable to connect to the data source.

Hi,
when a Session VPN is open and I refresh my sql data source (Fiel/Refresh) then I got the message "Unable to connect to the data source". There are 2 kinds of following errors (depends on the VPN):
1. "Login Failed. The login is from an untrusted domain and cannot be used with Windows authentication. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 18452)"
2. "Cannot Generate SSPI Context"
Can you help me?

If you VPN block the local connection, there is nothing we can do. The only workaround is to activate the offline mode.

Hi,
Sorry for the delay. I completely missed this thread. The problem is that the VPN cut the connection with your SQL Server. Maybe it's possible to use route to redirect some traffic (never done that to be honnest) or use the offline mode. You can setup the VPN to go on offline mode when you open the VPN connection.
