Can't use the menu anymore

When I open a putty session (tabbed), I can't use the menus (file, edit etc.) anymore. When I click on these, my screen is flickering and can't select an item.

Hmmmm. I use the latest 7.1.0.0 version but at this moment it works again. The only thing I changed, is that I removed dotNetFx40. Is it possible that this software creates my problem with the menu?

I still have the same problem with the newest version, but.... I only have it when I select the first tab, then I can't use the menu's anymore. When I select the second or third tab, everything works fine.
