Import from Active Directory
I’m testing remote desktop manager version 7.0.5.0
I want to use it on a laptop at different customers site's , so I want to import sessions from different AD's
My laptop is not a domain member, I don’t want to join a customer’s domain.
My firewall is turn off.
Maybe I do something wrong, but I can’t get it to work.
When I select File - Import - Import Computer Wizard
I get a window where i can select "Import sessions from: Active Directory"
Then I click "Next"
I get a window where my computer name is listed in de domain field, in the drop down list is nothing
When I manually add the domain name and click refresh nothing happens.

Hi,
We rely on WMI to list the machine. I think that maybe your user does not have the rights to access the WMI. Could you try to open a share drive on any machine of your customer by supplying a user with the Admin rights?

I opened a connection to the C$ drive on the Domain controller, and tried to do the import.
But with no luck. Added the domain name in the drop down list, click refresh nothing happens :-(
