I would love it if there would be a way to import and export just a folder/group and not the entire list.
Hi,
It's a good idea. In my internal build, I enhanced the group management:
- Group drag and drop
- Open all session from group
- Group batch edit
- Rename group
So I think that this could be easy to add for the first or the second BETA release.
Thank you

tested in 5.6.0.3 beta
confirming:
- group drag drop
- open all session from group
bugs:
- renaming groups:
unexptected error and only first node is in new named group after restart
- group batch edit:
when editing rdp connections i'm asked where sun virtualbox is installed and then get an unexp. error
note:
it is currently possible to rename groups to an existing name and get an unexp. error .. this should be checked
tested in 5.6.0.4 beta
confirming:
- renaming groups
- group batch edit (RDP)
i just tested the batch edit function with two rdp sessions .. i wanted to check the option "fit embedded rdp to window" but it is not possible to check this option ..
i would like to see editing general settings for batch editing like "open embedded (tabbed)" and therefore for all types of connection ...
scenario two rdp sessions batch editing and checking the option "uses serial ports"
session 1
server asdf
user asdfuser
domain asdfdomain
session 2
server xyz
user xyzuser
domain xyzdomain
result:
session 1
server asdf
user asdfuser
domain asdfdomain
session 2
server xyz
user asdfuser
domain asdfdomain
credentials are overwritten in session 2
Hi,
I will try to enhance the batch edit, but for now you can't change only one setting at the time, that's why all the credential are changed. It's not an easy task to implements a batch editor. For the Open embedded, I will try to add a section for that later, maybe in the next version.

i just wondered why the credentials changed but not the server ...
hope you can implement not to update user, domain and password for the next release.
Hi,
You're right, maybe I can't implement a full distinct batch edit, but for the credentials, I think that it's could be a special case.
I really appreciate all your comments, they help me fix my mind...
