The quick connect field in 10.0.4.0 seems to be buggy and is not acting like a 'standard' text box, and it's very disruptive..
I start out typing in a machine name in the field and connect (works perfectly).
When I go to select it and start changing the name by hitting the backspace, I would *expect* the field to erase the characters. Instead, it starts selecting them. I would expect the selection to work by using shift-backarrow like pretty much every other text box in Windows.

I can't reproduce it. Do you use the Classic UI? Could you try to restart the application and give it a try. It's look like you have the shift key locked.

I definitely don't have the shift key down.. I'm attaching an image of the screenshots.. I'm just using the UI as it installed. I haven't made any changes at that level.. just imported my mRemoteNG sessions and I'm experimenting adding some new ones.

I'm using the latest beta. Perhaps something was fixed indirectly. Is it possible for you to try it or not?

and where do I get it? (I just bought the software last week, and I'm working to understand everything I can do with it).

You can copy the files from %LocalAppData%\Devolutions\RemoteDesktopManager
By the way we are about to release the version 10.1.
