Modify a session type in RDM 10.0.4

Hi all,

I've a problem with the import CSV function, I'don't find the field "type of session".
When I'make an import with a CSV file, I cannot specify the kind of session SSH, RDP, Web....

When I want to edit the session I cannot change the type of session :

But if I use a RDM version 8.2.0, I can change the type :

Anyone know how can i do that in the RDM version 10.0.4, it will be really appreciate ?
I'm on Entreprise version.

Regards

Hello,

One of the steps of the import wizard is to select a template to use as a basis for the new sessions.

The best practice would be to create one csv file per session type, then choose the appropriate template when you export each one.

Best regards,

Maurice

Hi Maurice,

Thanks for the feedback about the import process.
Is it possible to include this field in the CSV in the future release ?

And do you know a way to change the session type in v10.0.4 like in the previous version ?

Thanks again.

Its a real bummer that you can't change this afterwards. Like in version 9 and older
It's one of the reasons i don't want to update the licences...

You could use the refactoring to apply a new template.

I will check to add a refactoring to change the type

I use duplicate entry allot, and change the type. That's allot faster then adding a new one, and change all the settings like the one i already have.
I know i can use templates. But still have to change most of it.
Now Duplicate entry is somewhat useless. Unless you want to test something.

Normally i need to set these types up rdp / sql / dameware / vsphere client / ssh client for each new client.

If there is a better way to do this i'm all ears
