Hello!
In the shared connections we have a folder called SAP with read permission for everyone.
Now a User created a folder called SAP in his private vault. RDM asks if you want to create a duplicate because this folder already exists. Why? Isn't the private vault and shared connections completely different and the private vault totally private?
If the user now answers YES he only has read permission for this folder in his own private vault.
Another point is if I create a new entry in my private vault I can see and choose security groups but fortunatelly it is saved with none.
Best regards,
Andreas
Hi,
The private vault is completely independent. It should not ask for the duplicate and it should not display the security group. I will fix both issue quickly.

This is now fixed internally.

Hi David!
Thanks for your support!
I just tried but also in 10.0.15.0 Beta it asks for duplicate...is it in the next Beta? The change history always is one version back.
Best regards,
Andy
Indeed it was not included in RDM 10.0.15.0. I will be in the next one later today or early tomorrow.

Hello David,
this problem also exist in 10.0.20.0. Should it be solved?
Best regards,
Andy
Which one exactly is still there?
David Hervieux
If I want to create a folder in Private Vault which already exists in shared connections it asks for duplicate the existing entry.
And I just found out that it asks me only for folders which are in the root and I have permission for.
Hi,
Thank you very much for you help. This is now fixed internally. I made multiple other fixes at the same time related to the private vault security.

Perfect! Thank you!
