Small Fast Connection Bar

Hallo,

i use the programm RDM with hotkeys to search my entries.
If i type for example Ctrl+ALT+K, i can type in the search window.

I dont want to open the hole programm to search and open a connection.
I have made a Screenshot for better understanding what i think about.
