V10 RDP Sessions always reconnecting
Since installing this version over the top of the previous version 9.. my rdp sessions constantly reconnect… when a session loses focus, and or I am using another tab on the Manager, and the session is quiescent (I think)
The workstation is 8.1 pro
The network path is via persistent routes on the workstation to a firewall VPN to the client site limited to port 3389
Connections via Native WINDOWS remote desktop to not exhibit this behaviour
It did not do it in version 9.??? I would have noticed!!!
It certainly does on it on both machines with v10 installed
It only reconnects the session when you focus the tab
it locks all session while reconnecting
Some sessions do not exhibit the behaviour all the time

I sussed it was size issues eventually just as your reply ethered in..
I changed properties display screen sizing mode to fit RDP window (smart sizing) and it all went away
The maximise from time to time exceeds screen size by a small amount a black border that edges the adjacent screen, and overlaps the secondary window taskbar the, Ill send an image when next I see it. I cannot replicate it just now. I thought that it was therefore sending mixed sizing signals causing reconnect.. but it did it in version 9 and did not reconnect..
So connection issue caused by sizing - ahem - interesting but very silly.
the good thing of course was being to batch edit all my connections and do it in one fell swooooop!! :)
