Bypass Windows logon message

Many Windows servers display a logon message after successful authentication, requiring the user to click OK to complete the logon process. Even when using stored credentials, if this OK button isn't clicked before the timeout, the remote session will be disconnected by the server. Is there any way to automate the pressing of this button to allow a completely hands-off RDP logon all the way to the desktop?

The best way to handle this is to remove that policy from your servers, and only apply it to your workstations.

Hi,
You could try a typing macro in the Events tabs

aaronstuder: Unfortunately, that isn't an option. Our policy requires the message.

david: I'll try that

I have the opposite problem. I need to click ok prior to logging in. It would be helpful to be able to execute a mouse click or send an <Enter> keystroke to get past that screen and then log in automatically.
I went to the Macros and tried to set one up, but it's looking for an app or service. Please don't judge, but I don't script. Not my bailiwick, not my strong point, not what I like to do. My dad, may he rest in peace, was the genius programmer about 30 years before it was as lucrative a profession as it is today. Unfotunately, he did not pass along the programming gene along to me.

Thanks for your help. I very much appreciate any assistance you can provide.

Hello,

Just to confirm, you're using an RDP session entry to connect to your Windows computer correct ?

I want to be sure to give you the proper steps/suggestions/tests based on what's available with the entry type you're using.

Best regards,
