It's compatible and the reconnect is not a real reconnect. It's one of our feature that adapt the resolution when the window size change. You can change that in File->Options | Type -> Sizing mode -> none

I forgot to mentioned that the dialog they see is directly in the RDP Active X and it's shown by microsoft when we adapt the resolution.

Just a thing I want to make clear: I've already told my coworker to do that yesterday and it looks like it was ok, but this morning they were complaining again...

And I just realize that the option I've set yesterday (screen sizing mode to none) is just reset to auto scale after restarting the application...

So is there a way to definitely set this option to none?

It look like their remotedesktopmanager.cfg configuration is not persisted. It's usually in %localAppData%\Devolutions\RemoteDesktopManager
