I cannot connect to S3 to use it as a data source even with verified secret and access keys. I keep getting "not connected."
A "test connection" button would be very useful when setting up this data source as would some kind of error message somewhere if a data source cannot be connected to.

Yes, thanks for the pointer.
RDM is complaining about a missing key in S3. See attached image. This means that the credentials I supplied are correct, but something you are looking for isn't in the bucket. Is there a need to pre-populate a bucket with something RDM expects?

Can you send us a screen shot of the session configuration. Have you specified a specific bucket name?

The file must already exist, and the name is case sensitive.
We will have to fix this. In the mean time, you could upload this file to the appropriate bucket. Adapt the case of the filename to your configuration

Interestingly, I simply created an empty file called "connections.xml" and RDM connected immediately.
