Hello,
I have created a RDP connection about a week ago. Two days later I have changed this connection. I also duplicated it 6 times and changed the duplicates because my shared templates were gone for an unknown reason.
A few days later all 6 new connections, which have been duplicated from the original one, have disappeared. Also the changes that I have made to the original connection have been roled back.
We have 4 installations of RDM and we are using a SQL server as our datasource. Not all clients are updated to the latest version.
Regards,
Jasper Kimmel

It's strange. Perhaps it's an issue with the cache. Could you try Ctrl+ click on the refresh button in the quick toolbar?
David Hervieux
The strangest thing just happened when I came back to the office this morning. After days of begin disappeared, the items are back out of the blue.
Weird huh?
That's why I was suspecting the cache

One other thing. When I create a shared template from an existing connection a new connection with no name is created in the folder in which the existing connection is stored.
When I delete those no named connection and click on the refresh button, my templates are gone.

Is it normal behavior that templates are visible in the list of connections?
Hi,
No it's not. Could you try a Ctrl+Refresh button?
David Hervieux
Refresh button did nothing. Now they are not visible anymore. The only thing I did was clicking on Test Database. Even new templates are not listed.
Strange huh?
What version do you use?
David Hervieux
I'm using version 10.0.4.0.
Some new information.
I just created a Template from an existing connection entry and the Template was listed again as a connection with no name under the folder in the tree list.
Refreshing and Shift Refreshing did not help. The connection with no name disappeared after I hit the Test Database button.
Hi,
Stefane was able to reproduce an issue with the template. He will take a look at it. Perhaps it's the same bug.
David Hervieux
I had the same proble.
The ther issue was that some connections theat i deleted would reappear and dissapear randomly
I've resolved an issue with editing/creating Shared Templates, the issue will be in the next build.
How to reproduce:
- edit a Shared Template, close the Template dialogue
- refresh the data source (do not CTRL+refresh, simple refresh)
- a no-name session will show up in the tree view
- CTRL+refresh the session will disappear
Note: if you open the no-name session and click "OK" the session will persisted and hence would need to be deleted after the fact. It will not disappear automatically in this case.
Once you get the new build installed, you will need to do a CTRL+refresh and then delete any no-name sessions that were persisted.
You should no longer have issues from that point on.
P.S. I will post to this thread when the actual build becomes available.
