Hello,
I just install RDM 10 and chocolatey and it is impossible to work with chocolatey: RDM always search a .bat file, that is not existing anymore in the chocolatey system...
Have you a workaround for this?
thanks
Is it looking for cinst.bat or cuninst.bat?
Looks like cinst/cuninst are no longer distributed. For example we should now use "choco install" instead of "cinst". I will change the code.
Until we get the fix done, you can add the attached files (4) to the "Chocolatey\bin" folder and all should work.

cuninst.bat
cuninst
cinst.bat
cinst
and chocolatey.bat?
here it is, what else is missing?
I will have to install Chocolatey on a clean machine to figure out what is missing & how to fix this. Thank you for the information.

chocolatey.bat
chocolatey
choco.bat
choco
The changes have been committed to the release branch, all should be good in the next version.

Tested on 10.0.2.0: Always searching chocolatey.bat in the target. This is not always working.
Hello,
I installed Chocolatey and RDM 10.0.2.0 on a clean machine, and ran some tests. I've been unable to reproduce your problem.
Could you post a screenshot of what you see when trying to use Chocolatey? Any other information would be helpful.

Hello again,
Could you tell us what version of Chocolatey you are using? I would like to test it using the same version as you, since I cannot reproduce it with the latest version of Chocolatey and RDM.
Also, are you using the 32 or 64 bits version of RDM?
Regards

Hi!
- RDM and Chocolatey are installed in a network Drive
- I use x64 version of RDM
- Chocolatey is uptodate

(I think the (chocolatey.bat) is not used anymore, because the system say ok for the folder, but chocolatey.bat is not anymore in :))
Hello,
In this case, the "could not download" error means there was a problem connecting to the Chocolatey API to retrieve the autohotkey description. Could you make sure both the machine trying to view the description and the machine that has Chocolatey installed (the one on your network share) can connect to this page? This is where we retrieve the package description for, in this case, autohotkey.
After making sure of that, could you show what it says during the installation of a program using Chocolatey (for example, autohotkey)? A screenshot of the installation window would be perfect.
You are right. In the latest version of Chocolatey, chocolatey.exe is used. RDM works with both the .bat file and the .exe file.

My computer and the host computer are allowed to access to the URL.
If I try to use the T:\chocolatey\bin\choco.exe install autohotkey, it prompt me for elevated rights, and install it after, but not in the folder I want (it is a chocolatey issue for me, but standard use)
Hello,
Thank you for providing this.
Could you try running RDM as administrator if you haven't already tried? Could you also tried opening the website I linked in my last post using an embedded web session in RDM? Maybe RDM's access to the website is blocked.
Also, could you try installing autohotkey using the RDM Chocolatey installer and screenshot the output installation window?
I attached a screenshot showing the expected result.
Regards
