Hi,

When I try to connect to vmware (Remote Desktop Manager 10.0), remote desktop manager says: please install vmware powercli.
It is installed, but apparently not detected.

Please advise.

Hello,

Please launch the "VMware vSphere PowerCLI" shortcut in windows and run the Get-PowerCLIVersion cmdlet.

Add the results here or send them to support@devolutions.net

Hello,

As described in http://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/troubleshooting_vmware.htm, versions 9.4 and above require the PowerCLI 5.5 R2.

If you cannot upgrade at this time, the help topic includes a link to an older version of our interface.

The thing that worries me is that you are not getting the message that I would expect, but maybe we are in an edge case that I didn't know about.

Please let us know how that turns out.

Maurice
