Hi there,
We bought the enterprise version last week.
Now I 'm trying to migrate from the standard to the enterprise version.
The database is running on SQL2008.
I have problems exporting and importing from the Access database to the SQL database.
Creating the new database worked, but when I swap to that database it gives an error:
The current datasource is unavailable.
Cannot find the object connections, because it does not exist or you don't have permissions.
I think it's a permissions problems although I 'm a SQL administrator on the server.
We evaluated the enterpise version it with SQL2005 and that still works fine, but we would like to go to SQL2008.
Can you help me out?
Hi,
Have you created the database with the user sa ? Can check if you can find more details in the application log (Menu help).
Let me know.

The database is created with an administrator account.
SA is standard disabled.
It's a permissions problem.
Access denied for login 'test' in the Application eventlog.
If I give the user adminrights on the database it works (but we don't want that).
So what rights need to be configured on the database to make it work?
Hi,
I did some test and I'm not finish yet. Can you try to create your user with a local account in integrated security ?
1. Create a datasource with integrated security on the SQL Server
2. Add a new user in RDM
3 Connect to RDM with the new user
I'm not exactly sure what permission are required. I know that the user must be created in SQL Server and after that in the database.
I will give you more info as soon as I find it.

Hi,
As far as I know, there is no problem and it's exactly what I use.
