PC Anywhere - "The selected modem for this..."

Hello,
I will share a PC Anywhere config file name (*.chf) with other Remote Desktop Manager Users.
But if the other Users open the .chf file from PC Anywhere they got the following error:
"The selected modem for this connection item is no longer installed. Please update this item's properties"

How can I fix the problem and how can I share PC Anywherere .chf files with users which use other modems like me?
Thank you for your support and thank you in advance!

Hi,
We call PC Anywhere in command line, could you try to invoke it manually to see if you have the same problem?

Hi,
thanks for the fast support! You mean to open PCAnywhere with Command Line in RDP Manager? Like on the Screenshot?

Many thanks!

Yes or from the command line in Windows

Hi,
I opened PC Anywhere from the Command Line but the error is still there. Is it maybe possible to open a normal .chf config file from PC Anywhere and besides to link a SQL database with all the numbers inside? Because with only one central database all the PC Anywhere users will have the same dates and we have no more problem with the different modems.

Many thanks!

Hi,
I'm not sure I understand. What would the SQL database link would look like?

Hi,
The SQL datalink would import the remote desktop connections from the database to RDP Manager Window. So then everyone can select the right connection and now the problem is, we have a lot of different .CHF files and everyone is manage his own files but we want that everyone have the same data sets. And if they share the .CHF files we have the problem with the different modems type because each time you add a TAPI modem, it generates a unique TAPI Permanent Line ID which is stored in pcANYWHERE32's connection items. If you no longer have a modem with this unique ID, pcANYWHERE32 displays the error message "This modem no longer installed. Please update this item's properties" or "The selected modem for this connection item is no longer installed." So is there any way to realize the Problem?
Many thanks!

This field will not be used in the pcAnywhere call or I've missed something? What would be the label for this field. It can't be SQL link because this could be used with an XML and it will generate confusion.
